Micro-dermabrasion

Micro-dermabrasion is a form of plastic surgery. It is performed by a dermatologist or a plastic surgeon. Stretch marks are treated when the top layer of skin is removed during the procedure. This then allows younger, newer skin to come up to the surface, erasing the appearance of the stretch marks.

Microdermabrsion is painless. It will usually take 5-10 treatments for maximum results. The treatments can be done once a week. This form of stretch mark treatment is considered cosmetic surgery and is usually not covered by medical insurance.
